Polytwist® PT54 macro synthetic fiber reinforcements were preferred in the application of topping layer concrete, which is desired to be made on the floors of a building that is actively used in Israel. Because the transportation and workmanship of the steel mesh reinforcement to the floors is very laborious and expensive. The customer was very satisfied with the result and stated that 20%-time savings were achieved with the use of macro synthetic fiber. In addition, three-dimensional reinforcement in concrete is aimed and crack formation is minimized with macro synthetic fibers.
