Polytwist® synthetic fiber reinforcements were preferred due to crack control and durability advantages in the project of Eczacıbaşı, one of the leading assets of Turkey, with a closed area of 50,000 m2. Polytwist®, which provides a three-dimensional distribution in concrete, increases the crack resistance of concrete under repeated and heavy loads, eliminates the risk of corrosion arising from traditional steel reinforcements, and significantly increases the quality and life of floor concretes. The antimagnetic property of Polytwist® macro synthetic fiber reinforcements also eliminates the risk that the magnetic field that may occur if steel reinforcement is used negatively affects the working system of the automation robots in the factory.
