A large-scale R&D study was conducted with Denizli prefabric building elements company on the use of macro synthetic fiber reinforcement in precast elements. Polytwist® PT54 macro synthetic reinforcement product is used in the production of prefabricated concrete panel walls, which normally use double steel mesh. With the production, the client was satisfied with the product and stated that the following benefits were obtained.
